SHEER MAG SUFFER ME

Philly punks Sheer Mag have shared an ominous video for their latest single 'Suffer Me'. Having quickly gained attention for their combination of 1970s rock and punk ethos, Sheer Mag play by the riff-rock rules—power chords empower, solos blaze, and choruses rally. Having received rave-reviews for The Compilation LP, which was released in March (and is comprised of the three EPs the band has released since 2014), Sheer Mag have recently announced their debut album Need to Feel Your Love, arriving July 14th on Static Shock Records. 'Suffer Me' was inspired by Fun Home, a graphic memoir by Alison Bechdel, which addresses themes of sexual orientation, gender roles, suicide, emotional abuse and dysfunctional family life. The accompanying video is equally dark, as we see an ominous cloaked figure creeping around in chapels, long hallways and riding a mystical white horse. - HLMX
